In support of new socioeconomic analysis and perspectives within
the fisheries agencies of East Africa, the Program is seeking training funds
from various donor agencies for short-term, MA/MS, and Ph.D. education for African
candidates. As far as possible, we seek the MA/MS training in African institutions
and the Ph.D. at least partially in the Western nations. We also are offering
relevant applied social science training through African institutions of higher
education.
