The Compton Africa Peace Fellowships at Michigan State University

This fellowship is offered to students from Sub-Saharan Africa to support dissertation field research in Africa that addresses peace, conflict resolution, and security in Africa.

These dissertation fellowship awards are made possible by a grant from the Compton Foundation through its Peace Fellowship Program. At MSU, the fellowships are a program of the African Studies Center (ASC) and Women and International Development (WID) Program and are a part of the ASC African Higher Education Partnerships Initiative (AHEPI).
