Funding Opportunities
Students are encouraged to seek financial assistance from their home institution and other sources. Possible funding sources include Title VI Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships for graduate students or for undergraduate students who will have received their first degree by the time SCALI starts and can show admission to a graduate program. FLAS provides a stipend of $6,500 for tuition, fees, and room and board. Support for transportation costs is contingent on availability of funds.
For more information, please inquire with your home institution or see Michigan State's SCALI website.
